10 storylines to watch as Terps football opens spring practice

Offensive coordinator Gary Crowton's spread offense is gone, and so is Crowton. The 3-4 defense has arrived. There are new offensive and defensive coordinators. Last season's special teams coordinator, Lyndon Johnson, will now oversee the outside linebackers. The special teams will be overseen by running backs coach Andre Powell. Maryland has added a recruiting class ranked 36th in the nation by Scout.com. Twelve players have departed since the end of the season, and coach Randy Edsall, entering his second Maryland season, said he believes the 2012 team members "buy in" to the program coming off a 2-10 season.
